Did you (like many of us) feel somewhat underwhelmed by the recent Disney Plus show Obi-Wan Kenobi? Not to worry, the titular character is making his way to comic book pages. Marvel recently announced it’s publishing a series called Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi – a six-issue miniseries based on the aforementioned show.
Recommended VideosMarvel shared three separate covers from the show on StarWars.com, along with other pertinent info about the series. The series will take place the same time as the show in terms of the universe – after Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and before Star Wars: A New Hope. Take a look:

The main cover (the first one) was illustrated by Phil Noto. The second cover and third covers are variants, drawn by Lee Garbett and Taurin Clarke, respectively. All six issues will be written by Jody Houser “with pencils” from Salvador Larocca, and each one will cover an episode of the show.
“Adaptations are how I got my start in Star Wars comics, and I’m always excited to try my hand at another,” Houser said. “Obi-Wan Kenobi introduced some fantastic new characters, as well as giving us new insight into old favorites, and I hope fans enjoy seeing a familiar story play out in a whole new medium.”
Larocca said he was excited to work on the new series after working on “Darth Vader and the main Star Wars titles” and that “now it’s time for me to take on Obi-Wan! I hope all of you enjoy the series as much as I do!”
The first issue of the series releases in December.
